About LeapSteps

LeapSteps is a to-do list where the tasks that matter link to a bigger goal. It's made by ZestRoot Inc., a small company in Vancouver, Canada.

Who makes LeapSteps

Shawn builds LeapSteps and writes the guides, goal plans and free tools on this site. Each goal plan starts in the app: Shawn writes the long-term goal in LeapSteps, taps Generate for the steps under it, then keeps, edits or rewrites what it drafts. The first-person notes on those pages are Shawn's own.

How the guides are written

Every guide is written for a real plan: the goal, a first week of short tasks and what to do when you fall behind. Facts come from the sources linked on each page, checked on the date shown under its title. Pages are rechecked over time, and the Updated date moves when they change.

The guides don't give medical, legal, tax or financial advice. Where a step needs an expert, the page says who to ask.

Where to get LeapSteps

LeapSteps is out now on iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac and Windows, and it's free to start: get it from your app store. LeapSteps isn't currently offered in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom.
